2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, receive, store, or transmit: any files you process with our tools, any text you paste into our tools (JSON, Base64, URL encoder, etc.), any images you compress or strip metadata from, any passwords you generate, any hashes you compute, any QR codes you create. All processing occurs exclusively in your browser's JavaScript runtime using native Web APIs.
3. Information We May Collect
We may collect limited, non-personal technical information to operate the website: server-side usage counters (total operations count — no content, no user identity), standard server access logs including IP address and browser type retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, and cookie preferences (theme setting stored locally in your browser's localStorage — never sent to us).
4. Cookies and Local Storage
ZeroUpload uses your browser's localStorage exclusively for: remembering your dark/light theme preference, storing your star ratings for tools (local only), tracking tool usage counts for the counter display. None of this data is ever transmitted to our servers. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile users.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website may load fonts from Google Fonts and display advertisements through third-party ad networks. These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not share any user data with advertisers.
6. Children's Privacy
ZeroUpload is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
